"Count to ten with: I went looking for Palestine but I found“ is a counting book that explores issues of borders and conflict . Using a satirical approach, this picture book aims to tell a different narrative of the most dated conflict in the middle east.
Knowing that Lebanese citizens are not allowed to cross the border into Palestine, I take a car heading to the Israeli borders. On the way, I map the intensifying landscape in a "children’s" counting book ending at the southernmost tip of the country where the only way forward is a U-turn back to where I came from.
